Day 17 : Carpe Noctem

Endless daydream in this dreary night
A cover too good a never forgotten plight
Dim lit lights that birthed shadows
In this darkness clarity harrows

Away from the city lights
And tiring urban cacophony
This tranquility beckons melancholy
Blessed be this silent harmony

Thus Luna and her children peaks
To kings and paupers alike
Listen to what the cold wind says
Hold thee fast and seize the night

NaPoWriMo #17: a nocturne
