Candor

Never knew the truth can create a void
A great feeling of oppressing cold
To be filled with woe and uncertainty
I thought true is salvation and clarity
But it sprung more questions
And pointed into more confusing directions
What to do, where to go
Despondent and confused
I just wished for some candor
But I should’ve been careful of what I’ve wished for
